Lauren Harrigan is a jeweller based in Ngāmotu, Taranaki.  Formed as much by deliberation as by chance, melted and carved wax forms are resonant of patterning, textures, and logics of the more-than-human world—striated rockforms, root systems, or tidal flows. Attentive to the symbolic inheritance of particular materials, forms and images, Harrigan’s work aspires for pieces to take on their own meanings and substance in relation to their wearer.
