BIG BUSH is a celebration of the natural world and the guardianship of our sacred places. In this exhibition, thirty-eight talented makers from across Aotearoa respond to the theme with both humour and deep reflection. By drawing parallels between the natural world and the human body and exploring the delicate balance of ecosystems, this group of excellent makers illuminate the beauty and complexity of the bush. "BIG BUSH" is a vital reminder of our responsibility as kaitiaki to nurture, protect and regenerate these precious environments.
